Description
A four hour circular tramp with some steep sections. It provides access to the largest remaining stand of mature kauri in the Auckland region. The circuit takes in some of the most magnificent trees in the Waitakeres and offers spectacular views.
Route type
This loop is located west of Auckland in Waitakere Ranges Regional Park. It consists of 4 trails: The Auckland city walk, the Upper Kauri Track, Long Road, and Fence Line Tracks. A short detour takes you to Cascade Falls.
